Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for expanding our customer base, with a strong focus on prospecting. You play a key role in further strengthening Pionira’s position as a market leader within the sector. In addition, you maintain contact with existing customers and align our solutions with their needs.

Responsibilities

New customers & business development (70%):

    • You proactively look for new opportunities in the market.
    • You approach prospects (70% cold, 30% warm) and meet them throughout Belgium or digitally.
    • You analyze their needs and provide convincing demos of our application.
    • You work proactively with the customer and translate their needs into our solutions.
    • You negotiate independently and close your own deals.

Relationship management (30%):

    • You maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
    • You detect new needs and opportunities within your client portfolio.

Requirements

    • You have at least 3 years of experience in a commercial role and gain energy from closing deals.
    • You have an affinity for IT and software (experience is a plus).
    • You communicate fluently in Dutch, English, and French.
    • Commercial experience in a logistics environment is a plus.
