As previously communicated, the European Waste Expert Group has decided to allow a <strong>transition period<\/strong> for <strong>non-hazardous waste<\/strong> (green list) until January 1, 2027. For hazardous and mixed waste (orange list), the deadline remains unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since April, you have been able to register your company in DIWASS. <strong>Every operator must be registered in DIWASS<\/strong> for the correct registration of waste transport. By completing this step now, you will avoid extra administrative stress later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I correctly register my company in DIWASS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Log in<\/strong> to <a href=\"https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/env-traces\">https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/env-traces<\/a> using your EU login account\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Don&#8217;t have an EU login account yet? Create an account via <a href=\"https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/cas\/login\">https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/cas\/login<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your <strong>role<\/strong> as &#8216;operator&#8217;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select an existing operator: here you can enter your company details to ensure you are not already registered. If your company is already on the list, no further registration is required. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are you not on the list? Then you are not yet registered. Select &#8216;<strong>create a new operator<\/strong>&#8216;.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the following <strong>company details<\/strong>: name, address, identification number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under &#8216;<strong>chapter or activity<\/strong>&#8216;, select Waste Shipment Regulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the remaining details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After registration, your <strong>status<\/strong> will change to &#8216;new&#8217;.
